A day of first
was a sunny day in which almost no dawn begins feat. I wake up, seems to be no desire to participate in a race over a weekend ... but you get up and continue on if you're gonna miss the best day of your life. I get up and head to breakfast in the dining room. Again, not to vary, the hotels do not understand that we need a few hours before breakfast to make the effort do not expect, so give us a pretty crappy breakfast should be improved with a few energy bars. This happens about three hours before the race began, at least in my case. Depues I go to my room to prepare all the material and "focus" on how I perform my career. Approximately one hour before, and ready, I turn to the pit area where they will perform to place the bike, t-shirts and more. Once everything is in place, begin warming ... about 9 am the race begins.
I started with quite a few win, little spark and I think her head thinking that my legs were pretty loaded. Once past the first five kilometers, it seemed that his legs started to answer and I felt much better and more encouraged to fight for first place in my age group 20 to 24 years. After the first race and already in the transition area, I grab my bike and start to finally enter the race. At this time was about the post 30, the truth bad enough but the truth is not all as you start but as stated above. When I finished the 40 miles of bike since I was in the 17 elite and had rallied from third to first place in my category. The last 5 km were very hard but I gave all my effort and managed to raise me with the title Champion of Spain from 20 to 24 years in Fuenlabrada Duathlon. Quite a feat.
