About 350 people live in Malaga in the street and there are only places to house 240. The shelters in the city are overwhelmed to care for the homeless who barely survive on the streets of the city for these people is difficult to access adequate housing. Most are men who have problems with alcohol or suffering from mental illness. Almost a third of them are unemployed and those who have jobs do not reach a median income of EUR 300 per month.
