Shamanism and Archaic Revival


The archaic revival * implies return to shamanism as civilizing impulse. Nowadays, ruled by the religio-scientific paradigm that has for centuries tried to ignore shamanic knowledge, is however amazing how technocracy itself rapidly destroying the planet has found its limits to meet human aspirations. Addiction to the idea of \u200b\u200bprogress and the current chaos has made many question our civilization and overturn the plan look at the cultures that retain some of the archaic way of life. Precisely these cultures and their struggle to survive are the opportunity to return to the point where we went wrong and disarm the destructive aspects of current progress. There is no other solution to our global society disbanded, in which economics, politics and science in genocidal confusion threatens to obscure the natural art of living.

Renancó * Archaic (Archaic Revival) is a term coined by the philosopher and ethnobotanist U.S. Terence McKenna (1946 - 2000) to refer to a cultural evolution that eventually split to recover the momentum of civilization of our ancestors on the basis of a global change of consciousness fostered by the revival in our present context of ancient shamanic practices.
